Grant Street: Homes inspired by Noosa

June 17, 2024

When it comes to dream homes, the best provide a true sense of escapism. They’re not like your everyday home. That’s what we set out to achieve with the design of our Grant Street residences.

Located in the heart of Noosa Junction, a local area brimming with ambiance, trendy eateries and shopping, this is a location that also offers nature on its doorstep – just steps from the national park and beach.

Blackwood Architecture’s design for these two residences is inspired by the location’s natural surrounds and the beauty of the Noosa lifestyle.

Molti Director Ben Teague explains: “When we first started thinking about what we could do here, we started with the lifestyle of Noosa. We considered how you live in spaces and how you could use design to maximise your enjoyment of Noosa – entertaining, relaxing, connecting.”

The result are two open plan multi-storey residences that ooze sophistication and blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living. Floorplans are arrayed to respect different uses, with entertaining and living spaces downstairs, and luxurious and comfortable bedrooms upstairs.

Each home features a shimmering swimming pool, set amid verdant landscaping that feels as if it could be an extension of the national park.

This nature theme is present throughout – from the colour palette, which is earthy and organic, through to spaces that open onto landscaping and trees.

Ben says this was intentional, to provide a feeling of escapism. “We wanted to achieve a feeling of sitting in the trees, being part of the landscape of Noosa. It is all about creating this environment in the homes that links to the area’s gorgeous surroundings.”

Both homes have been purchased by buyers who love the Noosa lifestyle and can’t wait to retreat to their slice of heaven. With construction well underway and expected to finish at the end of the year, it won’t be long until they’ll be enjoying their new homes.
