Delivering homes that stand the test of time and exceed expectations sits at the heart of what Molti strives to achieve.
When it comes to building these residences, it is critical to collaborate with a construction partner who understands attention to detail and how to deliver a resilient home that lasts a lifetime.
We’re proud to be working with ARCHEND on our Grant and Wyandra St projects. ARCHEND are a Noosa-based construction company whose team cut their teeth and built their reputation delivering high end homes in Sydney for many years.
ARCHEND share our passion for building great relationships and leaving a positive legacy. It drives their approach to building homes and it is something we believe stands out in the industry.
Founder Alexander Hansen explains: “We are around for the long-term and our homes need to be too. It’s why we place such an emphasis on using the best products and delivering to tighter standards than most. We are sensitive about the quality of our materials and the standard of our workmanship because we have worked hard to develop a strong reputation and want to build on that.”
This leads ARCHEND to extensively research the most suitable products and materials and continually improve the techniques and procedures with trades who understand quality and who can deliver well.
We were impressed by their insistence on quality materials – for example, they only use one concrete supplier due to the company’s high standard of quality assurance and consistency and its strength that is guaranteed to exceed requirements.
As a D&C company, ARCHEND understands both design and construction – not a given in the building game. This puts them a cut above the rest as they understand form and function, detailing, building resilience and how the long-term performance of materials and the technical standards of the trade work go into producing an excellent home.
“The industry typically works on a 50-year design life for buildings; we are always seeking to improve on that through resilient material selection and quality, over specifying, and exceeding minimum standards (not building to them). Some examples of this is our use of double layer waterproof membranes, or gutters that are designed to withstand heavier than standard rain events,” Alex explains.
“Where the weather is headed, and with more frequent and more severe storms, we want to be ahead of the game and for our clients to benefit from that.”
Being vertically integrated, and with a mix of cost plus and lump sum jobs, ARCHEND have a financial model that provides confidence in a climate where many builders are struggling. Strong relationships with trades and suppliers and sound project management practices have insulated ARCHEND from the pain many builders have felt in recent years as materials and labour have soared.
With our shared values of quality and reputation, we’re proud to be working with ARCHEND on the delivery of our first Noosa projects.
